PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for biologically degrading polyvinyl chloride, an acrylic polymer and a polyurethane. SOLUTION: This method for degrading the polyvinyl chloride, the acrylic polymer and the polyurethane comprises contacting microorganisms belonging to Bacillus or Brevibacillus with the polyvinyl chloride, the acrylic polymer or the polyurethane foregoingly treated with a solvent.
