PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display data transfer device capable of improving system performance, by transferring only the physically successive areas including a redrawn part, to a display device. SOLUTION: According to inputted pixel information, a receiving part 11 instructs a drawing part 12 to redraw the display data of an image part which needs to be updated. The drawing part 12 redraws the display data stored in a display data storage part 13 in accordance with the instruction. The display data storage part 13 has stores update information which indicates whether the display data are updated as well as whether the display data are redrawn. A display data transfer part 5, when transferring the display data, inquires about the range of the display area to be transferred of a successive area detection part 14. The successive area detecting part 14 specifies a single successive area of a physical memory, including all the updated display data.
