METHOD FOR CONFIRMATION OF LEAKAGE IN MEMBER WHICH GUIDES LIQUID AND DEVICE PERFORMING THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device which can provide a means for avoiding a large defect due to a leakage of a liquid, and the leakage in a member guiding the liquid in a system can be recognized quickly without a troublesome technical procedure. SOLUTION: The member 10 to be checked is enclosed in a covering body 15 which absorbs the leaked liquid and can be closed. Electrodes 20, 25 are embedded in the covering body 15, then a resistance change and/or a capacity change between electrodes 20, 25 occur at the time flowing the leaked liquid into the covering body 15. A display signal and/or an alarm signal are generated by a sensor which is connected to the electrodes 20, 25 responding to the resistance change and/or the capacity change.
