PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens rim lock mechanism for spectacles whose structure is simple, which is excellent in durability and by which a lens hardly falls off in an ordinary lock state but is easily and surely exchanged attachably/detachably through one action. SOLUTION: A pair of right and left rims 1 on a front frame F is made of elastic wire rod, and the wire rods constituting the upper bow part 11a and the lower bow part 11b of the rims 1 are twisted and taken out backward from both right and left ends of the frame F so as to form a bracket stern 12, and the twisted wire rods form an elastically expanded and contracted space 12a in the middle part of the bracket stern 12. Such a technical means is adopted that the upper bow part 11a and the lower bow part 11b of the rim 1 are elastically separated when the space 12a is pressed and deformed in a compressing direction, and a rim diameter between the upper bow part 11a and the lower bow part 11b are restored so that the lens L can be held when such pressing in the compressing direction is released.
