PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum pump in which the longtime can be extended and a silent effect can be obtained by changing a bearing to be used from a single-row deep groove ball bearing into a combined ball bearing, and making from a radial precompression into an axial precompression. SOLUTION: In the diaphragm vacuum pump, an eccentric shaft 9 and a connecting rod 10 of a motor 4 rotatably acting are used at the same shaft via a roller bearing 12.
