PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple pile head structure capable of more efficiently increasing resistance force against horizontal load of a pile foundation by controlling cost and time required for construction. SOLUTION: The pile head structure is constituted by providing a restraining board 4 constraining the surrounding ground 1 to the upper end of the pile foundation 2 buried in the ground 1. When horizontal force of an earthquake or the like acts on the pile foundation 2 by providing the restraining board 4 constraining the surrounding ground 1 to the upper end of the pile foundation 2, the resistance of horizontal force can overcome by frictional force between the lower surface of the restraining board 4 and the ground level 1a. Even if large horizontal force acts on the pile foundation 2 to tend to make the ground level 1a rise, the rising of the ground level 1a can be prevented by thrusting the restraining board 4 and, at the same time, the pile foundation 2 can be prevented from being inclined by receiving reaction force from the ground level 1a. A projection 5 increasing frictional force with the ground level 1a is provided to the lower surface of the restraining board 4 to constitute the pile head structure capable of resisting larger horizontal force.
