PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of detecting water level and a human body by one sensor and dispensing with an overflow hole. SOLUTION: The container (a washbasin) 1 comprises a water level sensor for detecting the set water level when storing water in the washbasin 1 and a human body sensor for detecting a user being mounted to a faucet implement 3; a solenoid valve provided at an intermediate part of a water supply channel leading to a discharge port of the faucet implement 3; and a controller for receiving detection signals from the water level sensor and human body sensor to control opening/closing of the solenoid valve.
