PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make ink ejection velocity substantially uniform among nozzles by reducing the difference of compliance among compression chambers caused by difference in positional relation between the compression chamber and a common ink chamber. SOLUTION: A channel unit 4 is provided with an individual ink channel 32a having a compression chamber 10a facing a submanifold 5a, and an individual ink channel having a compression chamber not facing the submanifold 5a.
