PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the transfer of a clear-cut character or the like by preventing a transfer sheet from slipping. SOLUTION: This transfer sheet 2 is used for transferring an image printed on a transfer surface to an objective transfer surface by depressing the back of the sheet 2. In addition, the transfer sheet 2 has an anti-slip means 33 which prevents the slippage of the sheet 2 to a transfer object during depressing the back. The anti-slip means 33 is structured of one hole or a plurality of holes 33A formed on the part, excepting the printing surface, of the transfer surface. The anti-slip means 33 may have a notch instead of the hole 33A. As a substitute, the part, excepting the printing surface, of the transfer surface may be a frictional surface treated in order to enhance frictional resistance. Alternatively, the part, excepting the printing surface, of the transfer surface may be an adhesion means. A printing device 1 is equipped with an anti-slip processing device 36 for applying the anti-slip means 33 to the transfer sheet 2 all in one piece or separately. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
