PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the seedling feeder of a seedling-planting machine for feeding vegetable seedlings into a seedling-planting apparatus through seedling-receiving cups, which can simplify works for charging the vegetable seedlings having long stems into the seedling-receiving cups by a worker and can thereby reduce the loads of the worker. SOLUTION: This seedling feeder 6 of the seedling-planting machine has a seedling-receiving portion in which many seedling-receiving cups 21 capable of receiving long stem seedlings W in standing postures are continuously disposed, and a revolving portion 23 for revolving the seedling-receiving cups 21 of the seedling-receiving portion in a loop-like shape on the planar view. The seedling W is transferred to the seedling-receiving cup 21 at a prescribed revolving position based on a seedling-planting apparatus 7 for planting the seedling W in a field. A seedling-receiving plate 27 capable of upward developing a seedling-receiving side 27b for receiving the seedling W in a horizontal posture is disposed at the opening upper end of each seedling-receiving cup 21. The seedling-receiving plate 27 is equipped with a tilting means 25 for standing the received seedling W to charge the seedling W into the opening of the seedling-receiving cut 21.
