A combustion engine comprises a crankcase (2), inlet (5), oil separator (7) and crankcase ventilation having a hydrocarbon store (9) in the ventilation flow direction downstream from the oil separator for one operating condition of the combustion engine, especially full load operation. An independent claim is also included for an operating process for the above.
