PURPOSE: A leaf spring suspension is provided to improve riding comfort and to secure proper vibration absorption and anti-vibration effect by moving a shackle of a leaf spring and supplying elastic bearing power for light load with a small elastic deforming range of the leaf spring. CONSTITUTION: A leaf spring suspension is composed of an elastic force supply unit deformed by a rotary motion that a lower end of a shackle is moved up, and mounted between the shackle and a vehicle body to supply elastic bearing power and a stopper(3) for limiting the deformation degree of the elastic force supply unit caused by the lift of the lower end of the shackle. The elastic force supply unit comprises a support block(5) contacted with the lower end of the shackle; a plate spring(7) strained by the rotary motion for the lower end of the shackle to hold the support block and to generate elastic bearing power; and a support bracket(9) for connecting and fixing the plate spring to the vehicle body.
