PURPOSE: A bus electrode and a method for forming the same are provided to prevent a degradation of contrast by permitting a bus electrode to have a width with uniform size after development and baking processes. CONSTITUTION: A bus electrode(131) comprises a black electrode layer(132) and a white electrode layer(133). The black electrode layer is formed into a predetermined height in the vicinity of a front substrate(111), and made of a metal which does not contain a frit. The white electrode layer is formed into a predetermined height on the black electrode layer, and made of a metal which contains a frit.
