<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner for blowing pulverized fine coal for metallurgical furnace with which a large quantity of pulverized fine coals can be blown by improving contacting efficiency of the pulverized fine coals with hot blast and oxygen gas so as to improve the combustion ratio of the pulverized fine coals. <P>SOLUTION: The portion at the tip end side of the pulverized fine coal blowing tube 2, is composed of a reducing diameter tube part 20 gradually reducing the diameter toward the tube end side to the inner diameter, and an enlarging diameter tube part 21 gradually enlarging the diameter toward the tip end side to the inner diameter in the tube end part connected with the above reducing diameter tube part, and a widening angle θ with respect to the tube axis in the inner surface of the enlarging diameter part is <10°. The pulverized fine coal stream carried in the tube is formed as the pulverized fine coal stream having the flowing flux cross section dispersed along the inner surface of the enlarging diameter tube part by quickly opening from the compressing state in the enlarging diameter tube part after compressing in the burner axial direction in the shrinking diameter tube part, and the contacting efficiency of the pulverized fine coal with the oxygen in the hot blast, is improved by blowing out this pulverized fine coals from the tube top end part and thus, the combustibility of the pulverized fine coals is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
