PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device allowing easy and proper item selection operation.

SOLUTION: An operator grasping a casing 2 slidingly operates an operation button 3 of an operation member 12 exposed from a window hole 2a by a thumb to move a cursor 41 inside an item selection screen to a desired selection item 40. An operation knob 4 is disposed in the front end face of a finger hook projection part 2c projectingly provided in the rear face of the casing 2, and a prescribed area inside the item selection screen specified by the cursor 41 is magnification-displayed when pressingly operating the operation knob 4 by a forefinger to turn on a push switch 28.
