PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate rotary cutting of soft material by cutting chips.

SOLUTION: A cutting recessed part 105 for cutting the chips by rotation cutting is formed in a base material 95 that is formed by forging and is used for forming a rotor 9 by rotation cutting. The base material 95 comprises inner and outer peripheral surfaces 99 and 101 in the direction along the rotary shaft core and a bag section 97 formed of a depth wall 103 in the direction along the rotation radius, and the cutting recessed part 105 is disposed in the bag section 97. A recessed part 93 formed of a forged surfaces is left in a magnet storage section 25 of the rotor 9. Thus, the recessed part 93 can be used for engaging jig connection.
