PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and inexpensively manufacturing a humidifying material excellent in both of humidification function and strengths by effectively utilizing fly ash discharged from a coal fired power plant. SOLUTION: This humidifying material excellent in both of humidification function and strengths is easily and inexpensively manufactured by mixing a humidifying filler containing artificial zeolite using flyash as a raw material and natural zeolite with an inorganic polymer solution, solidifying and molding, or by mixing natural zeolite, silica (SiO<SB>2</SB>) such as flyash or metakaolin and alumina (Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>) based inorganic powder with an alkali silicate solution, solidifying and molding.
