PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a decorative inorganic plate which can apply an optional colored pattern excellent in feeling of nature and raw materials by decorative particles efficiently and productively on the surface of the plate used for the outer wall material etc., of a residence. SOLUTION: On the surface of an uncured inorganic mat (6) obtained by molding a composition containing cement as a main raw material, a decorative particle-bonded sheet (1) in which decorative particles (4) are adhered to a film-like substrate (2) by an adhesive with its adhesive force reduced by heating and an embossing mold material (5) are laminated/arranged. Next, the laminate or the piled laminates are pressurized/compacted to form an uncured inorganic plate (8) in which an embossed pattern is formed on the surface, and the particles (4) of the sheet (1) are reversed/fixed. While the plate (8), after being cured primarily to be hydrated and semi-cured, is heated, the substrate (2) with its adhesive force reduced is peeled off from the inorganic plate (8) and cured in an autoclave.
