PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preserve the function of charging a battery by preventing a motor generator from generating an unnecessary driving force even in case abnormality occurs in an inverter device. SOLUTION: An inverter device 11, which controls the actuation of the motor generator 15, is mainly composed of an inverter control unit 61, an IPM62, and a field control circuit 63, and the field control circuit 63 comprises a field control unit 63a and a field circuit part 63b. Then, the field control unit 63a monitors the inverter control unit 61, and in case that it detects the abnormality of the inverter control unit 61, it compulsively limits the function of the IPM62 to only the rectifying function of varying the AC from the motor generator 15 into the DC of specified voltage.
