PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient and highly reliable information distribution system and method. SOLUTION: The information distribution system includes a server device for distributing electronic information, an access point device (AP) that is connected to the server device, a first radio communication terminal that communicates with the AP over a non-broadband network, a second radio communication terminal that communicates with the server device over a broadband network, and a user system comprising these radio communication terminals. A non-broadband identifier is given to the first radio communication terminal, a broadband identifier is given to the second radio communication terminal, and an access point identifier made to correspond to the electronic information is given to the AP. When the user system transmits the non-broadband identifier from the first radio communication terminal to the AP to request the distribution of the electronic information, the AP transmits the received non-broadband identifier and its own access point identifier to the server device, and the server device specifies the first radio communication terminal corresponding to the received non-broadband identifier and distributes the electronic information corresponding to the received access point identifier to the corresponding radio communication terminal.
