PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easily accessing a target folder or file from a multifunction machine. SOLUTION: The multifunction machine 2 receives icon data including shortcut information and icon image data from an external device and registers the icon data, and a display panel 16 of the multifunction machine displays an icon image. When selecting the icon image on the display panel, a user can automatically assess the corresponding folder or file or a driver such as a printer from the registered shortcut information.
