PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetometric sensor capable of detecting simply and surely the width and the concentration of a magnetic substance printed on a detection object. SOLUTION: This sensor is equipped with a pair of magnetoresistive elements connected in series, one of which is a sensing part facing to a magnetic detection medium, and the other of which is a temperature compensation part, a magnet for imparting magnetic biases having mutually different magnetisms to the pair of the magnetoresistive elements, and a detection circuit for applying a direct-current voltage between both ends of the pair of the magnetoresistive elements connected in series, and detecting a potential change of a common connection point of the magnetoresistive elements.
