PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance evaluation test machine capable of testing by causing the same elliptic distortion of outer wheel and a weight load state as the state caused in an actual machine of bearing for a planetary gear support, and obtaining highly reliable data. SOLUTION: The performance evaluation test machine for testing a test bearing for roller bearing for planetary gear support is constituted of a base stage 3, a bearing holding member 7, a weight load device 6 and a rotational drive device 17. The bearing holding member 7 placed on the base stage 3 is a member holding the test bearing 1 by distorting to ellipse, the outer wheel of the test bearing 1 and is constituted of two split ring member. The weight load device 6 loads radial load distorting by the bearing holding member 7 on the test bearing 1 in the longitudinal direction of the ellipse.
