PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring apparatus for prescribing each judgment range so that other judgment ranges overlap partially or entirely, and for judging whether measurement data belong to each of a plurality of judgment ranges. SOLUTION: The measuring apparatus comprises a measurement section 2 for acquiring measurement data, a storage section 3 for storing range data for prescribing the plurality of judgment ranges, and a control section 6 for specifying the judgment range where the measurement data belong by comparing the measurement data with the range data. The storage section 3 stores data, where it is prescribed that other judgment ranges partially or entirely overlap with either judgment range, as range data, and the control section 6 judges whether the measurement data belong or not to each of the plurality of judgment ranges.
