SNOW- AND ICE-SLIPPING MEMBER AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow- and ice-slipping member on which the snow and ice deposited are slipped down immediately in a simple manner and its manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The snow- and ice-slipping member has a cover layer on the surface of the substrate. The wettability of the cover layer as expressed in terms of a contact angle with water is≥110°. The slide angle of water drops of the cover layer is≤20°. The cover layer contains fine carbon fibers with a diameter of 0.0007-0.5μm and a length of 1-100μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
