PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall prevention tool of a walking stick, which stably keeps the walking stick when removing the hand from the stick while standing the stick nearly vertically on a floor surface in the state of putting the stick along a desk, a table, a rack, or other furniture, which is simply attached to and detached from the stick and used, and which is small and light weight, and has a structure for preventing obstruction during walking. SOLUTION: In order to utilize frictional force and magnetic force, the tool is provided with a belt-shaped fitting part 2 attachable to and detachable from the stick 1, and a stick-supporting plate 3 fitted to the fitting part through a cord or a chain 2c. When leaning the stick against the end of the face of the desk etc., a friction layer 3b is brought into contact with the horizontal surface of the desk to use the frictional force for preventing the stick from falling. A magnet layer 3c is stuck to the rear face of a center layer 3a. When leaning the stick along steel furniture, the magnet layer 3c is brought into contact with a steel face of the furniture so as to use the magnetic force for preventing the stick from falling.
