PURPOSE: A system and a method for offering electronic document related information without a viewer are provided to enable a user to use an electronic document without the separate viewer by offering the electronic document as an execution file format and enhance usability of the electronic document by offering a search module for searching information related to contents of the electronic document. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(200) requests/receives the electronic document through a communication network and requests the detail search for the information related to the received electronic document. An internal database(60) stores electronic document files of the execution file format transmitted to the user terminal through the communication network. An electronic document providing device(100) searches related information from the internal database and an external database(300) by the electronic document file and the search request received from the user terminal, and provides a result to the user terminal.
