FIELD: machine tool manufacture, namely apparatuses for compensating wear or error of making guides or mounting mechanisms of machine tools. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus is provided with one pair of shoes rigidly joined with movable assembly. Each shoe has two open cylindrical ducts over working surfaces of guide. Lengthwise axes of said ducts are inclined relative to surfaces of guide by angle 0.5 -10° and meet one with other by angle 1.0 - 10°. Movable wedge-shaped inserts are in the form of truncated cylinders forming flat contact sites and mounted in ducts of shoes with possibility of rotation around lengthwise axes of said ducts. Unit for translation motion of each insert in cavity of shoe is in the form of paired stop members arranged in shoe with possibility of engaging with ends of insert. Pair of shoes is rigidly joined guide of frame of machine tool; their cylindrical inserts embrace guide of movable assembly of machine tool in mutually opposite directions. Stop members of shoes are in the form of screw members. Inserts are made of anti-friction and vibration-suppressing material. ^ EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of regulation process, simplified maintenance and restoration of equipment. ^ 4 cl, 6 dwg |
