<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the storage of a file in a server, and to execute arbitrary processing to the file regardless of the classification of the file by a common method. <P>SOLUTION: In a server 12, a server processing part 50 stores a data file inputted from a file inputting/outputting part 56 such as a card slot 26 into a file storing part 66 according to a predetermined processing rule corresponding to the classification of the file. An additional processing instructing part 54 makes a server processing part 50 execute predetermined additional processing corresponding to the classification of the file when determining the instruction of the additional processing. A file inputting/outputting part 56 inputs an image data file or a music data file, and stores it according to the classification of the file.
