<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform jamming disposal by as simple constitution as possible in an image forming apparatus adopting a thermal roller fixing system. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is equipped with a fixing unit 4 having a heat roller 41 and a press roller 42 press-contacting with the heat roller 41, an outside cover 7 supported by a turing shaft 75, and a fixing unit frame 44 rotatably supporting the press roller 42, and is constituted so that the frame 44 may be turned in the same direction as the cover 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
