<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rising protection tube that does not cause the lowering of the strength of the protection tube by a simple means and also does not cause the case that a heat radiation effect cannot be obtained due to poor ventilation. <P>SOLUTION: Ventilation ports 22 are formed at the side of the rising protection tube 15 that contacts with a pole in, for example, two rows. The rising protection tube 15 accommodates the cable and is fixed to the pole when the underground cable is made to rise above the ground along the pole. The ventilation port 22 side is oriented to the pole at that time. There does not occur a problem that the ventilation port 22 opens only at one side of the protection tube even if the rising protection tube 15 is fixed to the pole in a state that the rising tube slightly turns, and thus a state is kept that either of the ventilation ports 22 opens at the right or the left side of the rising protection tube 15. Heat radiation action that makes heat in a conduit discharged away therefrom can be retained since the passage of a wind is not blocked.
