<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cooling power of a cooling system for a heat generating body. <P>SOLUTION: Protrusions and recesses are formed on the atmospheric side of a heat sink 8 and the recesses 8b are filled with adsorbent 10. Since a heat generating body, i.e. a central operating unit (CPU), is cooled through heat absorbing action incident to desorption of the adsorbent 10 in addition to direct dissipation of heat from the heat sink 8, cooling power of the cooling system for the heat generating body is enhanced without enlarging the heat dissipation area of the heat sink 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
