<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay connector which an electric wire is easily attached to and detached without necessity of a special tool, wherein the relay connector has an excellent efficiency as it uses parts without waste. <P>SOLUTION: A relay connector A has a housing 1 in which a wire connection portion 2 is constructed on one end of a housing 1 and a wire connection portion 3 is constructed on the other end. Connector connection 3 is constructed with a fitting reception portion 8 and fitting portion 9. Wire connection portion 2 include a plate spring for pushing a wire (a) to a terminal fitting 12 and a release mechanism 15 for releasing a pressure contact formed of a release plate 16 and an actuation lever 17. When release plate 16 is slid toward inside, a tip of release plate 16 fits with plate spring 13 to release a pressure contact between electric wire (a) and terminal fittings 12. When plate spring is slid toward outside by actuating actuation lever 17, the fitting between release plate 16 and plate 13 is released so that wire (1) pressure-contacts to terminal fittings 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
