<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate in which a manufacturing yield can be improved remarkably. <P>SOLUTION: A flat surface display device includes a dummy polysilicon semiconductor layer 25 provided on a front surface of a glass substrate 3 and insulated from a polysilicon semiconductor layer 21. A gate electrode wiring 11 is provided on a gate insulating film provided on the glass substrate 3 including the polysilicon semiconductor layer 21 and the dummy polysilicon semiconductor layer 25. The gate electrode wiring 11 is superposed on the polysilicon semiconductor layer 21 and the dummy polysilicon semiconductor layer 25. A capacity to the gate electrode wiring 11 is increased by the dummy polysilicon semiconductor layer 25. A voltage rise of the gate insulating film due to a static electricity generated in a step after the gate electrode wiring 11 is formed can be suppressed.
