PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency notification system whose specific communication function is usable over a wider temperature range than normal. SOLUTION: The emergency notification system with a telephone module 29 that makes calls when temperature is within a predetermined range includes an emergency reporting means 11 for reporting an emergency, and temperature sensing means 16, 17 for sensing temperature. Even if the temperature sensed by the temperature sensing means 16, 17 upon the report from the emergency reporting means 11 is out of the predetermined range, the telephone module 29 is caused to make an emergency call.
