PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supporting acquisition of a browing person's information that can present a structure among information to a browsing person and efficiently present first-browsed information to the browsing person, in an information providing system for presenting information correlated with information selected by the browsing person. SOLUTION: The method for supporting acquisition of a browsing person's information, which allows a browsing person to browse information recursively, displays current information near past-browsed information when allowing the browsing person to browse information recursively. A history of past browsing of information is preferably displayed in a separate chart. The history of past browsing of information is also preferably displayed in connection with currently browsed information.
