PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing implement for a base isolation system using a rolling element rapidly returnable to its origin after the end of shaking. SOLUTION: The base isolation system comprises the bearing implement 1 for supporting the weight of an installed object such as a building and limiting the transmission of shaking from the ground or a foundation to the installed object. The bearing implement has a pair of track discs 2, 3 having recessed track surfaces 5, 6 or 15, 16 respectively and combined to define an almost ellipsoidal space 7 between both track boards, and a ball 4 held in this space and rotating along the respective track surfaces. In the track surface of each track board, a center part 6a is formed in conical cross section, and its periphery 6b is formed in circular arc shaped cross section, or the track surface is formed in Gothic arch like cross section on the whole to secure the restoring force of the ball 4 returning to the track center.
