PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device used for a fall prevention device or the like that mechanically stops the slide of a press, in which a slide can be stopped by surely projecting a plurality of lock pins in a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: The locking device 40 is equipped with a plurality of lock pins 20, 21 and a connecting member 30 which is connected to the power output section of a driving device and which is provided with a plurality of holes 31 for the lock pins 20, 21 to be inserted. The locking device 40 stops the movement of the driving device by inserting the plurality of lock pins 20, 21 into the connecting member 30. The locking device 40 is also provided an oscillating section 18 that alternately projects the plurality of lock pins 20, 21 towards the connecting member 30 and an actuator 10 that transfers through the oscillating section 18 the plurality of lock pins 20, 21 to the connecting member 30.
