PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for continuously producing a filter in a tobacco processing industry. SOLUTION: Filter materials are supplied to at least one conveyer 15 by filter material supplying apparatus 10. At least two continuous forming apparatus 17 are provided in this case. The invention relates to the method comprising following steps: a step mixing and/or separating the filter materials into individual fibers, and then falling down the separated and/or mixed filter materials to at least one conveyer 15, a step forming the filter materials by at least two continuous forming apparatus 17, and then heating the filter materials in an area of at least two continuous forming apparatus 17.
