PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base structure of a coke oven riser tube without burning a tie rod due to a leaked blaze even when the riser is inclined with the deformation of the brick of an oven body. SOLUTION: A block 2 made of refractories is installed at the oven top 1 of a coke oven in which a tie rod 9 is embedded. The block 2 and a cylindrical stand part 3a are integrally molded on a larger diameter base 2, and the lower end surface of the riser tube 5 bears with the upper surface of the stand part 3a Further, the outer periphery of the lower part and the stand part 3a of the riser tube 5 is surrounded with an outer peripheral metallic seal 4. The inner side of the outer peripheral metallic seal 4 is sealed with a flexible heat insulation material such as sand 7 and heat insulation fibers 8 so that flame does not leak outside even when the riser tube 5 is inclined to form an opening on the upper surface of the stand part 3a.
