PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous manufacturing method for a coated granular fertilizer by which a coating film having a prescribed uniform thickness is formed and a prescribed quantity of fertilizer components, or the like, can be eluted at a predetermined period of time. SOLUTION: In the manufacture of the coated granular fertilizer by coating the surface of a granular fertilizer with a coating material, an adjusted grain graded by a rotary grader and having spherical factor of≥0.8 is used as the granular fertilizer to be a raw material.
