PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the performance and durability of an ink jet head having a piezoelectric sheet provided, on the surface thereof, with a plurality of individual electrodes, and land parts each connected electrically with an internal electrode provided commonly to respective individual electrodes through a through-hole. SOLUTION: The ink jet head comprises a piezoelectric sheet 10 having an individual electrode forming region 13 arranged with a plurality of individual electrodes 11 on the surface and provided with an internal electrode oppositely to each individual electrode. A plurality of surface common electrodes 31 and 32 each connected electrically with the internal electrode through a through-hole are also provided, as land parts, around the individual electrode forming region on the surface of the piezoelectric sheet. Each surface common electrode is formed rectangularly along the outer edge of the individual electrode forming region and bonded, at one longitudinal end part, with the connection terminal of a substrate being connected with a drive circuit.
