PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground bait cage with a detachable bottom lid made of paper continuously carrying out scattering of the ground bait by attaching the bottom lid made of the paper to the openable bottom of the ground bait cage and successively breaking supporting pieces made of the paper of the bottom lid in water with the passage of time. SOLUTION: The ground bait cage 2 is provided with the bottom lid 3 freely detachably mounted on the opened bottom 21 formed of a base 31 made of the the paper breaking by gradually lowering the durability in water and a peripheral wall 32 made of the paper and formed by nearly vertically bending the peripheral wall of the base 31 made of the paper. Furthermore, the base 31 made of the paper is notched by leaving the plurality of supporting pieces 33 made of the paper preventing the ground bait in the cage 2 from overflowing and cuts of a different size are formed in at least a part of the supporting pieces 33 made of the paper. Thereby, the ground bait cage 2 is composed so as to vary the breaking time by lowering the durability of the supporting pieces 33 made of the paper in water utilizing the different cuts of the supporting pieces 33 made of the paper.
