The said vaccine is obtained by biological engineering technology, and comprising a peptide encoded by 2 tandem nucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2., where n is the integer of 1-5. The. vaccine provided by the present invention is safe and has high immunoreactivity. It's suitable for mass manufacturing and can prevent or treat foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) effectively. It can also be used to distinguish between infected and vaccinated animals.
