The exhaust gas turbocharger for an internal combustion engine comprises a turbine, turbine housing (10), bearing housing (18), a flow passage (22) in the turbine, and guide vane carrier (16). At least one stud bolt (24) is provided to fasten the guide vane carrier on the bearing housing on a side facing away from the flow passage. The stud bolt on the flow passage side protrudes out beyond the guide vane carrier and has fastening means for a flow passage component part which together with the guide vane carrier forms a section of the flow passage in the turbine.
