The double-action manual drive has a pivoted drive lever (1) which can be rotated about a drive axis (10) in opposite directions (S1,S2) from a neutral point, for engagement with respective couplings (3,31,32) dependent on the rotation direction, for rotation of a driven wheel (2), with release of the coupling upon return movement of the drive lever to the neutral point. A spring-loaded blocking device (5) secures the driven wheel in the neutral position of the drive lever, with automatic release of the blocking device upon pivot movement of the drive lever via control elements (12,13).
