GROWING OF CLEAN TOMATOES/CHERRY TOMATOES USING PLASTIC BAG MADE OF SYNTHETIC RESIN HAVING DEW-CONDENSATION PREVENTING PROPERTIES AND LENGTH GREATER THAN LENGTH OF CHERRY TOMATOES

PURPOSE: A method of growing clean tomatoes/cherry tomatoes(Lycopersicon esculentum) using a plastic bag made of synthetic resin having dew-condensation preventing properties and a length greater than the length of cherry tomatoes which have reached the harvest stage is provided. By the method, clean cherry tomatoes which are uniform in size and standardized and have high commercial value can be produced. CONSTITUTION: The plastic bag comprises: a body with an envelope shape; and a fixing means which is formed at the upper part of the body to hang on the stem and is opened in all or part to allow good air circulation. The plastic bag has a size of 0.04 to 0.08mm in thickness, 12 to 18cm in width and 12 to 20cm in length and consists of 60 to 85% by weight of synthetic resin with a melt index of 3 to 10g/min at 185deg.C, 1 to 25% by weight of an antifogging agent, 1 to 15% by weight of an antistatic agent and 1 to 10% by weight of white carbon. The clean tomatoes/cherry tomatoes-growing method consists of: covering the plastic bag to the stem when the tomatoes reach table tennis ball size and cherry tomatoes reach jujube size; and harvesting tomatoes/cherry tomatoes 10 to 15 days after covering with the plastic bag.
