<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe fading preventive agent derived from plants, significantly suppressing the fading phenomenon of gardenia yellow pigment as natural pigment. <P>SOLUTION: This pigment fading preventive agent of gardenia yellow pigment has as the active ingredient the extract of leaves of Cinnamomum camphora Sieb. glaucescens Alex. Braun.
