<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a collision may occur between an IC tag which should respond and the other IC tag due to reflected waves or noise from the other IC tag. <P>SOLUTION: A reflective non-contact IC tag has, in a first place, an antenna for receiving an interrogation signal from an interrogator; a transmission line with one end connected with the antenna for phase-modulating the interrogation signal for reflecting or not reflecting it; a terminal load connected with the other end of the transmission line, thereby enabling a terminal load added to the end not to reflect for the interrogation signal; an open part connected with the other end of the transmission line, thereby being capable of opening the end to reflect for the interrogation signal in phase; a ground short-circuit part connected with the other end of the transmission line, thereby causing the end to reflect for the interrogation signal in reverse phase; and a switching part for switching and connecting one of the terminal load part, the open part, and the ground short-circuit part to the other end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
