<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an introducer sheath capable of easily securing a blood vessel with less puncturing resistance in insertion to the blood vessel, hardly generating crushing and bending (kinks) even when the blood vessel at an insertion part meanders and capable of reducing pains given to a patient in the insertion to the blood vessel or detention. <P>SOLUTION: This introducer sheath 1 is provided with a sheath tube 2 composed of: an inner layer tube 6; a filament 9 helically wound around the outer surface of the inner layer tube 6 and formed of a resin; and an outer layer tube 10 provided on the outer side of the filament 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
